A winter is never complete without a trip to Gurgaon's best kept secret - Sultanpur. As always the haul was rich, and the highlight was spotting a Jackal from 30 ft away.

Lesser Whitethroat (Lesser)
Initially mistook this whitethroat for an Asian grey flycatcher. The penny only dropped when I was reviewing the pictures on my laptop. I then also realised that this is the first time I've photographed this bird.
